Web 2.0 Conference

Jack MaO’Reilly podcasts and blogs are very good sources of information on today’s IT trends. And their books aren’t bad either. They have put together a page with videos/podcasts from the Web 2.0 Summit. Definitely something to take a look at:

Podcasts are a great way to listen to major players in the IT world, both in the US and internationally. I just listened to the podcast by Jack Ma. Here is a description:

In the seven years since Jack Ma co-founded Alibaba.com, the Alibaba web sites have grown to include 30 million registered members from more than 200 countries and territories. In his Web 2.0 Summit conversation with John Heileman, Ma explains some of the reasons for the sites’ success. He values what he doesn’t know as much as what he does know. One thing that Alibaba CEO Ma knows is the Chinese market. He talks to Heileman about what does and does not work in China.

Very interesting and I highly recommend it. Of course, there are several podcasts I would recommend. I’ll keep a list over on the right hand column of this blog. I’ll rotate out the older postings so the list does not become too long. Daily I come across great podcasts. The information we have available to us is amazing.
