		<description>Hi, John,

This is a wonderful article. I am really brand new for PHP and I got so many issues when I tried to install php5 on our apache server. The reason is I install php as CGI, but I tried to activate php Module. I understand it seems fool :).

Now, my php5 worked on apache1.3.34 already. We used to have php4.3 with oracle 8.17 on our server. Now, we would like to use oracle 9 which was used on our server. Unfortunately, I could not connect php 5 to oracle 9, even if I used
--with-oci8=$ORACLE_HOME [or path to $ORACLE_HOME].
What should I do to fix this? I do understand you are not technical supporter, but I am at a loss what to do with this issue for 2 weeks.
Many thanks for your time and help in advance.

Best regards,
helen</description>
