I wanted to draw attention to Christofer Hoff post, “Jericho Forum’s Cloud Cube Model…Rubik, Rubric and Righteous!” As the old saying goes, “Great minds think a like, and fools seldom differ.” That quote has always meant to me that intelligent people will approach a problem from all different directions but in the end come up with similar conclusions. They may differ on many points, but they see their way to a true solution.

Take a look at the Cloud framework in the Jericho Forum’s paper “Cloud Cube Model: Selecting Cloud Formations for Secure Collaboration“:

Now compare that to the table Hoff developed in his post, “The Vagaries Of Cloudcabulary: Why Public, Private, Internal & External Definitions Don’t Work…

Notice the similarities in how both organize the multi-dimensional elements of Cloud Computing. The Jericho Forum has released a short video titled “Securely Collaborating in the Clouds:”

While I do not have any video of Hoff, he has made available the slides in his post “The Frogs Who Desired a King: A Virtualization & Cloud Computing Fable [Slides].”
